On 25 November 2025, a delegation from the Agency for Innovation, Green Transition and Industrial Promotion (IGIP) of the Ministry of Industry of Vietnam (MUIT) visited the ENEA Casaccia Research Center.

Claudia Brunori, Director of the Department for Sustainability of Productive and Territorial Systems (SSPT), and Simona De Iuliis, Head of the Technical-Strategic Support Section of the Department for Energy Technologies and Renewable Sources (TERIN), presented ENEA’s structure, activities and strategic objectives in the field of scientific research and technological innovation.

During the visit, the delegation also had the opportunity to explore the laboratories and facilities of the METROFOOD-IT infrastructure, dedicated to traceability and quality in the agri-food sector.

The Vietnamese representatives illustrated the country’s main strategic guidelines in the energy sector, which foresee significant growth in renewable energy sources, while also highlighting several challenges, mainly related to transmission grid efficiency.

ENEA expressed its willingness to further explore these issues through targeted technical discussions, with the aim of strengthening international cooperation.
