BOLOGNA, April 24, 2026 – An important institutional meeting was held today in Bologna between the Emilia-Romagna Region and the delegation of the Department of Industry and Trade of the City of Hanoi. The event, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two territories, was organized by the Vietnam Trade Office in Italy in collaboration with the Italy-Vietnam Foundation.

The meeting saw the active participation of the main regional trade associations and Unioncamere, confirming the strategic interest of Emilia-Romagna’s productive sector in Vietnam, one of the most dynamic economies in Southeast Asia. The discussion focused on exploring opportunities for trade exchange and creating synergies in the key sectors of the regional economy.

During the meeting, the MIP 2026 trade fair was officially presented. The event will take place in Vietnam from September 9 to 11, 2026.
