50 years of diplomatic relations between Italy and Vietnam
On May 29, at the office of Notary Elia Antonacci, the Italy-Vietnam Foundation was established in Bologna by Cav. Maily Anna Maria Nguyen and Vice Presidents….
The Foundation wants to continue and strengthen the work carried out for more than 15 years by Dr. Cav. Maily Anna Maria Nguyen of promoting and strengthening relations and cooperation between Italy and Vietnam and more generally between Europe and Vietnam in several areas identified below.
With the support and expertise of the other Promoting Founders, the Foundation aims to become a catalyst for initiatives from Italy to Vietnam and vice versa by becoming a point of reference for stakeholders.
The Foundation pursues cultural, health, scientific, artistic, sports, environmental purposes, in the field of economy, carries out studies and research as well as elaborates and implements programs of special relevance, organizes significant events useful to improve, develop and foster cultural, scientific and more generally mutual relations and relations between Italy and Vietnam, within the framework of existing relations also at the governmental level.
The Foundation intends to collaborate with other organizations, national and international, both governmental and private, for the realization of its purposes and is open, taking into account specific experience, to develop and consolidate relationships with other foundations and associations interested in the Vietnamese, Italian and international world by positioning Italy as a privileged partner to support Vietnam in its industrialization and modernization
The initiative is part of celebrations of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Italy and Vietnam and 10 years of the signing of the Strategic Partnership.
