November 25, 2025 – A delegation from the Agency for Innovation, Green Transition and Industrial Promotion (IGIP) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam (MUIT) visited the ENEA Casaccia Research Center.

Claudia Brunori, Director of the Department for Sustainability of Productive and Territorial Systems (SSPT), and Simona De Iuliis, Head of the Technical-Strategic Support Section of the Department of Energy Technologies and Renewable Sources (TERIN), illustrated ENEA’s operations, activities, and strategic objectives in the field of scientific research and technological innovation.

During the visit, the delegation was also able to explore laboratories and facilities of the METROFOOD-IT infrastructure, dedicated to traceability and quality in the agri-food sector.

The Vietnamese representatives presented the country’s main strategic priorities in the energy sector, which foresee significant growth of renewable sources, while highlighting certain challenges, particularly related to the efficiency of transmission networks.

ENEA confirmed its willingness to further examine these topics through dedicated technical discussions, with the aim of fostering international cooperation.
