As part of the promotional initiatives supporting Italian wine planned for 2025, the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) is organizing a new edition of the BORSA VINI VIETNAM in Ho Chi Minh City (May 8, 2025).
Why Participate
The Borsa Vini is an effective and well-established promotional tool, highly appreciated by companies, as it enables participating producers to create new business opportunities and strengthen existing contacts.
According to Vietnamese importers, the demand for Italian wines has been growing significantly in recent years due to the following key factors:
• Local wine enthusiasts are gaining greater knowledge of the quality of Italian wines;
• More wine importers are seeking to diversify their portfolios with Italian wines;
• Italian wineries are offering more flexible business terms to their counterparts;
• Ongoing efforts by the Italian government, in collaboration with regional associations and Italian wineries, to promote Italian wines.
Vietnam is expected to open up new and promising business opportunities for future exporters, who can benefit from the following favorable conditions:
• A large market of over 100 million people with a growing taste for refined, high-quality products, along with a rising middle class;
• With the entry into force of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), import tariffs on wine will be gradually reduced and eliminated within eight years.
Italian wines already have a strong presence in the local market, and new Italian wine exporters can leverage this experience to enter the Vietnamese market and diversify the available offerings.
