The Teatro Massimo of Palermo and the Ho Guom Opera House of Hanoi sign a collaboration agreement. Today, the Mayor and President of the Teatro Massimo Foundation, Roberto Lagalla, along with Superintendent Marco Betta, welcomed a delegation at the Teatro Massimo. The delegation included representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Rome, the Superintendent of the Hanoi Opera House, Nguyen Cong Bay, and his closest collaborators.
Also present were Goffredo Vaccaro and Alberto Firenze, supporting members of the Italy-Vietnam Foundation.
The meeting, organized by the Italy-Vietnam Foundation, marked the beginning of collaboration between the two cultural institutions, with plans to organize concerts and performances in both Palermo and Hanoi.
The Ho Guom Opera House in Hanoi is one of Vietnam’s most modern and prestigious musical institutions. Its new venue, inaugurated in July 2023, spans 5,000 square meters near Hoan Kiem Lake and has received international recognition for its visionary architecture, public amenities, and excellent acoustics in its theater spaces.
