ICE – The Italian Trade Agency for the promotion and internationalization of Italian companies – is organizing the collective Italian participation once again this year at the FOOD & HOSPITALITY HANOI 2025 trade fair, which will take place for the first time in Hanoi from March 18 to 20, 2025, at the Hanoi International Exhibition Center.

WHY PARTICIPATE IN FOOD & HOSPITALITY HANOI 2025

It represents the leading trade event in the ASEAN region, and the Horeca channel remains the preferred access point for Italian agri-food and wine products. Thanks to the recent EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), which came into effect in 2020, European products have become more competitive in the local market.

Italian agri-food exports to Vietnam have significantly accelerated in recent years, increasing from 78 million euros in 2020 to 134 million euros in 2022 (+57% compared to 2021).

After a decline in 2023 (-30%), the latest available ISTAT data (June 2024) indicates a resurgence in the growth of agri-food exports, amounting to approximately 51 million euros (+4.6%).

Vietnam, with its favorable location, governmental policies, expanding economy, and regional connectivity, continues to be a market of great interest for Italian companies aiming to enter Southeast Asia, given its role as a strategic gateway.
