As part of the 22nd Asian Film Festival, Vietnam Day will be held – a day dedicated to Vietnamese cinema with the screening of two acclaimed films:

CULI NEVER CRIES
Winner of the Best Debut Feature Award at Berlinale 2025, this film follows the intimate and ironic journey of a Vietnamese woman returning home after years in Europe, accompanied by a baby slow loris. An original story that explores identity, solitude, and family bonds.

DON’T CRY BUTTERFLY
Winner of the Critics’ Week at the Venice Film Festival, this poetic and touching film intertwines childhood and memory. Set in a rural Vietnamese village, it portrays the experiences of a young girl facing loss, transformation, and resilience.
